Find Your Perfect Frame Size
The right frame should feel comfortable, stay securely in place, and look balanced on your face. This guide will help you understand frame measurements and choose the best size.
The easiest method is to compare the measurements with a pair of glasses that already fits you well.
How to Read Your Frame Size
Most frames have three numbers printed inside one of the temple arms, such as:

50 – Lens Width: Width of one lens at its widest point.

18 – Bridge Width: Distance between the two lenses.

140 – Temple Length: Length of the arms extending behind your ears.
All measurements are in millimeters.
How to Find Your Size

Look inside the temple arm of your current glasses.

Find the three measurements.

Compare them with the measurements on the Blick Optical product page.

Choose a frame with similar measurements.
The numbers do not need to match exactly. A difference of approximately 1–2 mm in lens or bridge width will often provide a similar fit.

These are general guidelines. Frame shape, bridge design, and construction can also affect the fit.

Age alone does not determine frame size. Comparing the measurements with a comfortable existing frame will give you the best starting point.
How Should Your Glasses Fit?
A properly fitting frame should:

Sit comfortably without squeezing your head.

Stay in place without sliding down your nose.

Keep your eyes reasonably centered within the lenses.

Avoid touching your cheeks when you smile.

Feel comfortable behind your ears.

Look balanced—not noticeably too narrow or too wide.
Is the Frame Too Small?
Your frame may be too small if it presses against the sides of your head, stretches outward at the hinges, or appears noticeably narrower than your face.
Is the Frame Too Large?
Your frame may be too large if it continually slides down, feels loose, extends too far beyond your face, or touches your cheeks.
Choosing Between Two Sizes
If a frame is available in multiple sizes, choose the option closest to the measurements of your current glasses.

Choose the smaller size for a closer, more secure fit.

Choose the larger size if you prefer more room or have a wider face.
